Is the internet killing our brains?

OK a scary title, but one I have to use in order to get your attention – and the title itself hints at the problem.

I just read an article in the Guardian newspaper from leading scientist who argues that what the internet is doing to our brains right now could be what smoking did to our lungs 30 years ago – i.e. it could be really damaging, but we just don’t have the evidence yet.
